CIRF
Who are we? (About us)
CIRF is a non profit technical-scientific association created in 1999 by a group of technicians with different background to promote the culture of river restoration and its related know-how.
CIRF aims at:
- increase the awareness about the benefits of river restoration, through educational activities, publications and dialogue with public authorities, professionals and researchers.
- coordinate, promote and support pilot studies and innovative projects
- develop and stimulate the involvement of all subjects interested in the management of water and land
provide interaction and coordination with similar international centres (CIRF is a member of the European Centre for River Restoration - ECRR)
