Projects

Our institutional targets also include activities of research, monitoring, planning, design, carrying out and establishment of high innovation programs (art. 4.2 of the Statute).
When non member Public Corporation ask CIRF to give its contribution, this is possible only if the intervention is included in CIRF institutional aims Projects are classified id two categories: "CIRF Projects" and "Autocertified projects".

"CIRF Projects" are directly approved by the Executive or even by the Board of Directors and CIRF guarantees the projects respect the Statement, the Rules and the quality’s Criteria for the control (i.e. the establishment of an interdisciplinary group for the control).
"Autocertified Projects" are developed by regional referents or by other members in coordination with them, even without the direct control of the main office. For this reason CIRF just guarantees that the responsible of the projects pawned themselves to respect the quality’s Criteria explained above, even if there is not a systematic examination. Any CIRF member, can signal possible problems.

Moreover, since the year 2003, CIRF decided to develop, within the Association, an University Group with the aim to promote Masters that foresee the chance to frequent stage being directly involved in projects and in the activities of river restoration, giving the stage a higher value.
Currently, CIRF and some Universities are studying the chance to establish some Masters.
